Voluptuous Secrets was built from lived experience.

As a full-figured woman, I knew firsthand how difficult it was to find bras that truly fit and felt good. What started as personal frustration quickly revealed itself as something bigger. After talking with other women, it became clear we were all navigating the same challenges with sizing, comfort, and confidence.

In 2002, after being laid off from my role at an architectural firm, I decided to turn that insight into something meaningful. Voluptuous Secrets opened its doors on December 17, 2002, on King Drive, creating a space dedicated to helping women feel seen, supported, and properly fitted. More than twenty years later, we are still rooted in that same location and purpose.

One of my earliest customers walked out after her first proper fitting and said, “It feels so good to be lifted.” That moment stayed with me. It captured exactly what this work is about.

To this day, my joy comes from seeing that same transformation. The shift in posture, in comfort, in confidence. It never gets old.

We also believe in education. Bras are an investment, and knowing how to care for them helps extend their life and maintain the support they are meant to provide.

More than anything, this boutique is a space where women can feel comfortable, understood, and confident in their bodies. A place that feels like it was made for them.
